Defending the Faith: Insights from Isaiah for Today's Challenges

So you and your people built your church with love, dedication, sacrifice in giving to God, fastings, many hours of tears and prayers to God for souls to be saved? And you are worried about today’s circumstances? Or What may have transpired to undermine the future? And those who may try to undermine all that you and your church has dedicated and given to/ and given up, for His House of Worship?

Go read Isaiah 36, & 37! When King Hezekiah was afraid, he went to the House of the Lord, and sent his servants to Isaiah, the Prophet, for answers. ISAIAH TOLD THEM, Thus saith the Lord: Don’t be afraid! I’ve got this! But the enemy would not relent, and sent threatenings by a letter. Hezekiah took that letter, and where did he go? To the house of the Lord, and he spread it out for God to read! Then he prayed!

God heard, and sent Isaiah back to King Hezekiah! “Isaiah, you have been praying about the enemies of my people?” Isaiah 37:33-35. It ain’t gonna happen! “For I will defend this city for to save it, for MY OWN SAKE, and for my servant David’s sake!” Then the angel of the Lord went forth - (it just took one Angel) and by morning 185,000 Assyrians were ALL DEAD CORPSES! And you are worried about your situation?

When the big mouth, boasting king saw this, he left out! Sennacherib went home, and his own sons turned against him and killed him!

God’s WORD, God’s TRUTH, and God’s church is established, and as long as we stay in His presence, He will go before us; He will hear our cries; He will establish His Word and His works! And none- no one- can stand in his way! He has WAYS and MEANS that we never dreamed of! Don’t get in his way! Don’t get in opposition to His will! Or, you might end up as Sennacherib!

God is a faithful God!
