SAGES Working in Missions (SWIMs)
We are so excited for the upcoming Sages Working In Missions trip!! (SWIM)
You will have opportunity to work with the local missionaries and their team in the beautiful island of St. Marten by helping in services, on prayer walks, and outreach. You will also have some time to explore this culturally diverse island!
You do need to be completely mobile and the age limit is 75 and under. Unfortunately, we do not have handicap services available. The limit for the group is 20, so if you have any interest at all, please contact either Michael or Dianna Tuttle as soon as possible! This will be an amazing time for Sages to use their talents and abilities to further the Kingdom!
If you are interested in applying, please contact either Dianna or Michael Tuttle to do so! Go and be a blessing!!
Sages Day
Our theme for March 1, 2026 SAGES Day is “Anchored: Sure & Stedfast.”
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast…” Hebrews 6:19
Did you know - the United States celebrates Sages Day on March 1 each year? Yes - it really happens.
The UPCI now joins that celebration. On March 1 or the Sunday before March 1, churches are encouraged to involve those of the Sage age. If this is done meaningfully, the Sages Day service provides an opportunity to invite unchurched family members to church.
As most know, church growth comes via "household evangelism" - the oikas principle. The people who attend the Sages Day service to celebrate their family member or friend are the most likely to be receptive to a Home Bible Study and to a follow-up cup of coffee or lunch.
How about passing this tidbit of scheduling opportunity forward to your pastor?
