Kevin & Teresa Cain

Kevin & TeresaCain

From an early age, Kevin Cain felt a strong calling to ministry, recognizing this divine direction at just seven years old. This early sense of purpose shaped the course of his life and laid the foundation for decades of dedicated service in Christian ministry.

On April 11, 1980, at the age of eighteen, he married the love of his life, Teresa. Together, they have built a life centered on faith, family, and service to the Kingdom of God. At twenty years old, he officially entered the ministry, serving as both youth pastor and assistant pastor in Midland, Texas, where he began developing his leadership and pastoral gifts.

By the age of twenty-three, he stepped into his first senior pastorate in Belen, New Mexico. Over the years, he has faithfully served in a variety of ministry and leadership roles, including serving as Principal of a Christian school in Montgomery, Louisiana, and later assisting Pastor Carl Denny in Houston, Texas.

From 1988 to 1994, he pastored a church in Vernon, Texas, providing six years of steady leadership and spiritual guidance. Following this season, he moved to Spring, Texas, where he established Gospel Truth Pentecostal Church of Spring. He continues to pastor this church today, faithfully leading and serving the congregation and community.

In addition to pastoral ministry, he is also an author, having written the book Preachers Have Problems Too!, offering insight and encouragement to those in ministry.

Kevin and Teresa raised two sons, Aaron Cain and Eric Cain, both of whom are now married to wonderful women who have blessed the family with eight grandchildren.

Currently, he serves as the Houston Metro North Presbyter in the Texas Gulf Coast District, continuing his lifelong commitment to leadership, mentorship, and service within the church.
