Still Worthy

Make it Worthy
Your influence is not a noise you make-
it is the weight your silence carries,
the unseen current moving through
rooms you’ve already left.
It is a tool-
not forged of iron,
but of presence,
of tone,
of the quiet authority
of who you choose to be
when no one applauds.
You do not merely speak into moments,
you shape them.
A glance can steady a trembling heart,
a word can fracture one.
You have this power-
not granted by title,
nor earned by applause-
but entrusted,
daily,
in the ordinary passing of time.
Be careful.
For influence does not shout its danger.
It rarely announces misuse.
It drifts,
subtle as a shadow stretching longer
at the end of day.
It persuades without permission,
builds without blueprint,
breaks without warning.
You may never see
the full reach of your impact-
how your kindness became someone’s courage,
or how your carelessness
echoed longer than you intended.
This is the sacred tension:
you carry something
you cannot fully measure.
So hold it with reverence.
Let your influence be clean-handed,
unselfish,
anchored in truth
when convenience would be easier.
Let it lift,
not leverage.
Heal,
not harden.
Guide,
not control.
For the greatest power
is not in how many follow you-
but in how many are made stronger,
freer,
and closer to light
because you passed their way.
You are always leaving something behind.
Make it worthy.
